Sonic Chronicles Trailer Has Explosive Text

Sonic's first foray into the RPG genre serves as a dramatic basis for the latest Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood trailer, coming by way of publisher Sega.

Developed by Mass Effect (PC, 360) creator BioWare exclusively for the Nintendo DS, Sonic Chronicles is set to debut this fall.

So here's about how it went for me

Sonic, okay.
Adventure and puzzle solving, Um...alright.
Cartoony, OMG could this mean?!
RPG, What?...ya lost me there.
Bioware, Um dude go back to Sonic in an RPG, I'm still lost there.

Okay so mabye Sonic in an RPG isn't the absolute best idea, but I am hopeful because it's being done by BioWare.

This is really strange. It's a Sonic RPG, it's made by Bioware, the trailer is strangely bland, and it's called Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood...

Dark Brotherhood? Seems a little cliché.

While I'm not interested in Sonic as an IP, I hope this title does well and leads BioWare to develop more RPGs for the DS. Preferably, an IP of their own creation.
