This is the worst article i've ever seen. No no no no no!

Just because BSG managed to revive the series and become popular it doesn't mean every sci-fi needs to be rebooted and darker. Farscape was *perfect* the way it was. Look at Voyager and Enterprise, not reboots, but they tried to go "darker"... TNG/DS9 was the epitome of that series. DS9 actually was a bit "darker" but it had a great story, characters and still had charm.

Ooh, I have an idea... lets make Eureka darker and edgier! Those constant bright colors and fun stories are no good. Kind of reminds me of "M rated games" vs Nintendo games.

I love BSG, but I love Farscape more.

I go during lunch to a small UPS store to drop off my coffin'd 360 (a plain white box with just one label).

The salesperson behind the counter goes, without even seeing the label or weighing the box, "Xbox 360?" I ask how she knew, and she claims at least 3 of the coffins pass through their store a day, and goes on how she's keeping her son to 10 minutes a day on hers so that the console is still alive when Fable 2 comes out.

Do you use any compilations that just look great?
I've been using Caith UI for ages and occasionally swapping to Reborn UI then back again, depending on my mood.

I notice Caith is now flagged as RIP, so I'm guessing there won't be any future updates. I like how streamlined these two UI's are and how much of the screen I can see. Are there any favorites out there?

I've tried MazzleUI, which was ok for like a week, but in the end, I left not really feeling the love.

Multiplayer games have never quite got Few vs Many right.

Whether its the normandy beach in RTCW:ET or DoD:S, or even in assault maps in UT- i'd love there to be a game where its a small squad versus a massive army of things controlled by players.

For example lets consider whisky outpost in starship troopers. One-on-One a bug will lose to a marine. The obvious problem is how do you make it for the alien player who gets killed constantly. I cant see a solution but it really is a concept that has never been tackled before. Even something in natural selection its balanced as such so its 12 vs 12. Perhaps make it so when an alien dies you automatically switch to a computer controlled entity running along side you?
