New Left 4 Dead Screenshots: Pissed Off Zombies

Continuing this week's barrage of Left 4 Dead assets, Valve has released four new screenshots from the Hospital level of its upcoming cooperative zombie killing game.

I like these new models, they look much better than what the concept art let us imagine. I guess they're going for the CS:Source clean realistic look. Which isn't a bad idea considering they want broad appeal for the game.

  Valve always goes for the clean look. Their artists are phenomenal. I love how their games typically have this great compromise between art and function.

  Hopefully the advertising campaign matches the more "mass appeal" they are going for with L4D. Late Oct / Early Nov is once again overstuffed with AAA games, and L4D will run the risk of getting lost in the shuffle if they don't get the word out early and often.
