Dead Rising Wii Screenshots Have Few Zombies, Details and Release Info Arrive (Updated)
by Aaron Linde and Chris Faylor, Jul 21, 2008 10:52am PDTCapcom has issued more details and the first media from the Wii edition of its mall-exploring zombie-killing effort Dead Rising, which originally hit Xbox 360 in 2006.
Dubbed Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, the game is said to utilize a level of interaction similar to that of Resident Evil 4 Wii, allowing gamers to aim and fire guns, swing weapons and shake off zombies using the Wii Remote.
The original title's oft-chastised save system has also been revised "for more seamless gameplay," though Capcom did not specify further how the system has changed.
Powered by the Resident Evil 4 Wii engine, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop is scheduled for a worldwide release this coming winter.

also, if you guys really think that there are that many less zombies, maybe you need to start the 360 game again and go to those areas. It looks about the same to me, presuming these screenshots are near the beginning of the game which it looks like they are.

But I really hope Nintendo wakes up next generation and makes their graphics better. I understand all their design choices and so on for this round and I respect that, but I mean, these games just LOOK unimpressive, which then turns prospective people like me off... or at least will defer me to the 360 version.
This isn't the first game like this, either. Hulk was another one.

How do they achieve it?
It could look so damn pretty if only it.. tried.

I'll be impressed if they can manage the sheer volume of zombies that are in some areas on the 360, but there are plenty of spots in the 360 version where it's not wall to wall zombies too.

But if you never played it on the 360 I guess you wouldn't know what you were missing.
