Aaron Linde just can't catch a break. If there's a window, he'll find some way to fall out of it. Luckily, Valve's zombie shooter Left 4 Dead features a convenient ghost camera.

Inbetween the frequent horrible scenes of death and humiliation, I managed to capture a little footage of the game, showing off the newly redesigned characters.

Left 4 Dead is set for a November 4 release on PC and Xbox 360. Don't forget to check out Linde's humiliation-free preview, posted this afternoon.

Only thing I hope they change is the movement speed, it takes away from the whole horror experience if you can sprint around the zombies like an Olympic runner by default.

did they say the flashlights don't run out of batteries? that's one of the dumbest things about these dark shooters lately, batteries that last 30 seconds but hey they recharge in 10 seconds on their own, really that's just stupid...

have they stated how someone will turn from a zombie into a human? It would be fucking awesome if it worked in a way where the player would have a bar or some indicator of his level of infection and he could either ask for a heal or let it slowly over take them. It could be a huge griefing problem but oh man the level of tension of having to worry about your teammates turning suddenly and having to blast them in the face. I cannot wait for this game!
