Wolfenstein Debut Teaser Trailer Emerges

Hmm. Well it certainly looks a LOT better in motion than in those tiny screens from awhile back. I'm skeptical, but ready to be impressed.

Well at least its not another standard WW2 game. Might be fun.

I hope they do a great job on the multiplayer just like in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It was the perfect balanced of great objective based maps, class strategy and team play. No other multiplayer has came close since then (and i'm not talking about Enemy Territory.)

Hmm, at the end of the demo it shows 360, PS3 and and Playstation logos..

No PC love?

If it's an updated version of RTCW I'll be satisfied. That was a fucking great game.

I hope this game comes out in
A.) A reasonable Period of Time
B.) OK Singleplayer with some ridiculous Nazi occult shit (I think they've got that covered)
C.) Awesome Multiplayer thats similar to RTCWs

I mean I hope they don't add any special powers or whatever to the multiplayer, just good team objective based action like the original, with smallish, high adrenaline, high action map.

as long as theres no scripted stuff like CoD i dont know how this game could not be fun.

I can appreciate the lack of bull-shit in a teaser - no fluff, straight to gameplay, quick flash of the logo and move on - but c'mon, this is WOLFENSTEIN. If Activision really wants to show that they know their user-base a little more information would really build some hype.

Simply showing some FX (that were very dated at times - dude launching rockets while flying, wtf circular puffs of smoke????) blue post-processing effects and and some soldiers shooting doesn't really scream "WOLFENSTEIN", does it?

Any logo could have been slapped on at the end of that trailer and it wouldn't have made any different to the trailer itself: GENERICSTEIN.

I -really- hope they can pull this off and not disappoint. Raven's track record is decent but so far the E3 reveals for Wolfenstein have been lack-luster. As sad as it is to think, I am hoping what we're seeing is the trigger being pulled too early because ATVI wanted to jump on the E3-hype train and the screenshots & video were put together with unfinished assets.

Please please please please please be good.

wow wolfenstein. really? they couldnt thing of something else to call it. like the fall of wolfenstein or something else. even the last one was return to castle wolfenstein.

Ha, this reminds of RtCW very much. Will be on the lookout for this title!
