No Bungie Game Reveal After All

Developer Bungie's website has been updated with a letter from company president Harold Ryan, who states that contrary to earlier reports, Bungie's new project will not be revealed during E3.

"For the last several months, we've been building toward a reveal of something exciting that Bungie is working on," said Ryan. "We were looking forward to sharing that with our fan community during the week of E3. However, those plans were just changed by our publisher."

He added, "We realize that many of our fans are disappointed by this turn of events; members of the Bungie team share that disappointment."

Though Bungie became independent last year after several years under the Microsoft umbrella, the Seattle software giant retained publishing rights on Bungie's current and future projects.

I hope they shove their lapdog apology up their collective asses, even though the Halo series never seemed like anything special to me.

laff - he was a fan of bungie pre-halo, calm down. There are a lot of people that wish bungie would get back into some of their other genres... I'm sure we'll get a big reveal sooner or later. I think MSFT saw that they had already dropped enough bombs to boost their stocks for the time being. A bungie announcement on any scale will add additional boosts in the coming months no doubt.

I had an account here for a while, that's #1.
#2 - Anyone would be pissed by a company teasing to reveal something and then flipping the bird. It's like the GOW3 revelation today on Sony conference - totally pointless.
