If the answer is not "less than 15ms" this is bollocks. Or not very actiony.

Anyways, here are some *RUMORS* I've read about in various places on this project:
-It's been in development for around 4 years
-The player counts are handled by Zipper servers, it's obviously not peer to peer.
-It isn't a continuous world, it is a collection of instanced battle zones with objectives.
-Sony isn't alone in leveraging one of their strongest brands into an MMO, wait until MS announces their game in this league(action MMO)...

That point aside, I very much enjoyed Planetside and it is proof that a large-scale shooter is doable, and can be fun. I have been waiting for another developer to take a crack at refining the formula and turning it into something that succeeds in the mainstream. Will this game do it? Probably not, but I'll try to keep an eye on it just in case.

Anything that's "action" oriented seems it would suffer from bad latency, now if this is a click and forget MMO like WoW then lag isn't as much a concern. Glad to see people doing more of these large scale battles, need more.
Planetside anyone? Heck, sony made that.
133x133x133 with 10 person squads and 3 squad platoons. Only with the power of, erm, PC.
And why do sony continue with fucking CGI trailers? Sure, that looked nice but its nothing like how the game will play.
