Microsoft: Xbox 360 Will Outsell PS3 Worldwide; NBC, Universal Come to Xbox Live Marketplace

During its press event today, Microsoft devices division VP Don Mattrick proudly boasted that "Xbox 360 will sell more consoles worldwide than PlayStation 3" by the end of the current console generation.

Microsoft also announced that both NBC and Universal will both be bringing their programming to Xbox Live starting today.

Chances are, if more Japanese developers decide to make real Next-gen games similar to Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resident Evil 5, they will gravitate towards PS3. They won't wait for Nintendo to make a system with hi definition visuals or focus on a system that has non-existent sales in Japan.
