The overall industry index held steady this week, posting minor double-digit gains to close at 90210 points ahead of next week's E3 event. Ah, the calm before the storm.

  • Bioware should take note that the only footage they showed was a cutscene that does nothing to separate itself from dozens of other fantasy games. Mediocre and uninteresting in every way.

    Whereas Blizzard showed us a cinematic and gameplay and then explained what steps they were taking to improve Diablo 3 over 2. So far we have no idea what Dragon Age is about, why the gameplay should be worth trying, and what exactly Bioware is working on now.

    That employee's comments contrasting their and Blizzard's game announcements show they don't understand why a new Blizzard game would generate so much buzz.
