Quantum of Solace Screens Show Tuxedo Action
by Aaron Linde, Jul 10, 2008 11:27am PDTPublisher Activision has passed in three new screens from Treyarch's upcoming James Bond shooter Quantum of Solace, based on the upcoming film of same name.
Utilizing Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine, Quantum of Solace blends first-person shooting with a third-person camera when in cover or disarming opponents. The game is said to allow players the choice of tackling tasks covertly or with full force.
Due out alongside the film this fall, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are being handled by Treyarch, with Beenox covering the Wii and PC editions while Eurocom develops the PlayStation 2 incarnation. Vicarious Visions is working on Quantum of Solace on the Nintendo DS.
