Castlevania Fighting Game Media Shows Caged Owl

Konami has released the first screenshots and artwork from Castlevania Judgment, the first fighting game take on the vampire-slaying adventure series, due on Wii this fall.

Featuring the artwork of Death Note manga artist Takeshi Obata, Judgment pits series characters such as Dracula, Alucard, Simon Belmont and Maria Renard against one another in 3D combat, complete with motion-sensing controls and online multiplayer.

Similar look to Soul Calibur but crappier. I don't think this game will do very well. Die hard Castlevania fans will be interested maybe.

I'm sorry, but there's no way MK vs DCU is a dumber idea than this. The game might be good, but the idea is a complete WTF. MKvDCU is at least building on a precedent set by Justice League Task Force and Marvel vs Capcom. Who the hell wants to play a Castlevania fighting game rather than a traditional platformer?
