Multiwinia Screens Feature Lo-fi Warfare

Publisher Introversion has released a new set of screenshots from Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest (PC, 360), a multiplayer variant of its 2005 PC strategy game Darwinia.

In addition to a standalone PC release, Multiwinia is also slated to hit the Xbox 360 as part of Darwinia+, a downloadable XBLA package which includes the original game as well as the new multiplayer functionality.

Introversion has not yet announced a release date for either platform.

I just purchased Darwinia this last Saturday for $5 and am just starting it, really like with the little time I have messed with it. I hope to try this new version on my 360 whenever it hits.

As long as their new title keeps the same colors of dark grey, dark blue, dark green, and black. Other colors are not allowed.

I'm tired of getting excited about this. I love Introversion's stuff but every time I hear about Multiwinia I'm like "Oh no way they're still developing that?" and then I forget about it for another year.
