Title and armour designs and that dev guy's face aside, this looks promising. They better have a good control scheme though, 3rd person fuck 'em ups can be so bad with that expecially when you need to do the same thing a thousand times an hour.

Could the title of this game be any more generic?

Darksiders : WRATH OF WAR

I mean, if they had just left it at Darksiders I'd probably be fine with it, but WTF does "Wrath of War" even mean? Why have it there? It puts me off the game before I've even seen the video.

Then I watched the video, and low and behold, it looks like it lives up to the title.

I know the industry is practically built on copycats but this seems like a bit much. IMO This open world (the way they described it) is COMEPLETELY unneccessary.

Remember No More Heroes and it's *ahem* "Open World"? Yeah, this looks like it will be the same but with prettier graphics.

Seems like this game is trying to do to many things, at least for a THQ game. Can someone remind me what the last really good game they put out is, because I'm blanking? If it all works out then it looks awesome, but some of it already look a little watered down.

This is a pretty competitive genre, with heavyweights like Ninja Gaiden's, DMC's, and God of War... this looks cool, but not sure unless you play it for a week or two.

Also, please, please no timed-button-press sequences.

I saw a bit of red, green, and blue in those pictures. Maybe some yellow as well.

THQ, I find this use of color to be highly unacceptable in today's world. Please remove these colors and replace them with shades of brown, gray, or better yet, black. If anyone agrees, please sign below.

I can't get past the feeling that this'll be one of those games that looks cool until a month before release when suddenly it's far less awesome than it used to be, and the releases somewhat buggy and gets shitty reviews.
