RTS-FPS Hybrid Raven Squad Coming to PC, 360
by Chris Faylor, Jul 03, 2008 9:32am PDTSouthPeak Games has announced Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger, a "unique blending of real-time strategy and first-person shooter genres" for PC and Xbox 360.
Set in the near future, Raven Squad puts players in control of eight mercenaries across two groups. Each is said to "possess distinctive skills and weaponry," with players able to switch between RTS and FPS gameplay at will.
"Only by mastering both of these modes of play, and becoming adept at switching between the two, will players make it out of the jungle alive," SouthPeak teased.
Due out this fall, the game is helmed by Hungarian developer Atomic Motion and published by Evolved Games, with SouthPeak acting as the title's distributor.
