New Infamous Screenshots Are Electric

From publisher Sony Computer Entertainment comes three new screens of Sucker Punch Studios' open-world action title Infamous (PS3), depicting the game's combat.

The game marks the first original property out of Sucker Punch since the Sly Cooper series on the PlayStation 2, and allows players to choose between becoming a hero or villain while tearing through a living city.

Infamous is expected to hit the PlayStation 3 next year.

I was in agreement originally that this looked a bit like a Prototype ripoff, but now I can see that was giving it WAY to much credit. Looks more like digital ASS.

Wasn't overly impressed with The Game Informer article. I thought it was going to be more serious, but it seems they are going the comic book route.

Sucker Punch is one of my favorite studios and I'm sure this game will be great. But what I really, really want is another Sly Cooper. Those games had so much personality and were just so fun to sit down and play. The massive leap from the first one to the second one still makes Band of Thieves one of my favorite games.
