Bond, James Bond In Quantum of Solace Screenshots

Activision has released the first set of screenshots from Quantum of Solace, the James Bond game in development at Call of Duty 3 and 5 developer Treyarch. The game, powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine, mixes first and third person perspectives and is set to ship when the movie hits theaters this November.

This could be impressive. I'll keep an eye on it. I did like nightfire back in the day, which is the last James Bond game I played. Pointless comparing anything with goldeneye, as it has reached Unquestionable Demi-God status.

The screenshots look horrible. Hang whoever is doing art direction and engine implementation. I'm assuming this is Unreal 3 and it just looks like sh*t. If it's their own engine then they need to toss it. This looks like a last gen game. The Daniel Craig model looks more blond than he should.

Treyarch butchered COD3, and they (rightly) blamed a short dev. schedule determined by a publisher.

So they're given time for COD5, and they're confident it'll turn out right.

Now they're back on a short schedule determined by a publisher, and we're saying this game looks promising?
