Sins of a Solar Empire 1.1 Patch Details Emerge; Updates Everything: Graphics, AI, Animation, More

19
Publisher Stardock today revealed a preliminary change log for an upcoming update to Ironclad Games' space RTS Sins of a Solar Empire (PC), due out later this summer.

Bringing the game to version 1.1, the update includes an updated graphics engine and visual effects, new damage animations and more alongside the standard gameplay balancing changes.

The update will also debut with a new multiplayer system called Alloy, which the publisher says will eliminate the need to configure routers or change port numbers for online play.

The patch will launch as a public beta next month before its summer release. For more details, check out the complete change log.

I love how they show beautiful zoomed in shots and you never see it from that angle while playing.

eh, I wish you could wipe out planets... Say if a planet has been over taken X number of times - it just goes PooF!

I play most of the game from the zoomed in and cinematic cams. I can control most of the game from the nifty unit/planet sidebar. Of course, that could be why I lose most of my games :)
