I don't know what it is about cliffy b but he always strikes me as a nerd that is trying way too hard to be cool. The tattoo, the "strangers with benefits" shirt... it just seems kind of forced. It's not like you can't be "cool" and be in the computer industry... steve jobs did it... but cliffy just doesn't seem to pull it off.

I love how everybody from GoW2 to Farcry2 are all talking about how cool their flame throwers are.

Sorry, but the coolest flame thrower that actually LOOKED and ACTED like a flame thrower is the one in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Hands down.

Looks like the original GoW which is not a good thing. I hope it will be good, but the first one really didn't impress me other than graphically the gameplay was dull, and repetitive with carried over to the multiplayer.

I like the part where they say they need to bring gaming to the next level... is that why Epic made a reasonably popular game 10 years ago and haven't made anything different since? yeah, Epic games are really pushing boundaries of gaming... face it, they have EA-Syndrome, they are too scared to every change IP or every actually push gaming forward so they will just rehash endless sequels to the same tired old crap.

I can't believe they have pretty much the exact game play that we were going to have in our HL2 mod that is going to be released soon ... we should have released it AGES ago.. damnit! Now we will be labeled as GoW2 rip-offs ... WHyyyyy :/
(lucky we aren't making it on the unreal3 engine I guess)

For some reason, I just could not get into the first GoW multiplayer. I think part of the reason why was that I never truly mastered the controls or the maps. I would be sprinting and would hit every corner and going into cover mode. It annoyed the hell out of me and killed the pace.
