Hopefully this will have decent controls and not get me all hyped up and then let down like Don King Presents Prizefighter.

that game made me sad :(.

FNR3 is still the go too boxing game. Why is it that when EA actually has a good sports game on it's hands like fight night, it chooses NOT to milk that? Round 3 was good, but could have been much better, and I would have welcomed a more polished Round 4 a year and some change later.

I had the original UFC fighting game on the Dreamcast. It was ok, but it got old quick.

EA is making both Facebreaker and Fight Night Round 4.

The control scheme will make or break the game. The whole time I was watching the video the only thing I was thinking of was how they hell are they going to implement the diversity of actions present in MMA into the control scheme. I pray it will be good, but I'm already expecting disappointment. Hopefully it will at least somewhat enjoyable and not just be button mashing.

Yeah - I've spent a lot of time thinking about how you might cram mma controls onto a console, and as near as I can tell the answer is "not easily"

Also, quinton needs to get the lockdown on that halfguard and then go for the oldschool sweep on forrest.

they should use a variant of the FN3 control scheme for standup fighting and then figure out something good for the ground using the right stick as well
