So a friend of mine was walking out of Best Buy when a guy walks up to him, trying to sell a flat-screen TV in his trunk for 400 bucks. He never told me the exact dimensions because of the following: he cashes out the 400 bucks, pays the man, gets home, and unwraps the bubble wrap with a clearance tag on it, eagerly awaiting to hook up his new toy, when...

In front of him, sat a large piece of wood spray painted black, with a reflective piece of plastic taped to the front.

Has anybody ever owned or ridden one of those scooters? I think it would be a really neat way to get around town in the summer and you can't beat 90mpg. I'm just wondering how easily they would get stolen.

Just a heads up for you all the 2008 BET Awards is in half an hour, the preshow is awesome I've been watching it for half an hour too. This show is already better than anything on tv tonight by like 10000 million times. And also Lil Wayne is opening and the performance is probably going to be awesome. Make sure you watch it it's going to be more awesome than your mother, 8pm EST.

If I want to parse amazon customer reviews do I need to sign up for their developer thing? Is it easy to get at them with their web service? Parsing HTML for other sites blows so much I'd rather just wait a day or two for the application thing to go through if it means I can access the customer review text easily.

Some requests of players:
1) Try to avoid plane rape and uncappable base camping (except to destroy command assets). We all know planes aren't properly balanced and this gets annoying.
2) Don't drive a vehicle (particularly tanks and APCs) just to get another vehicle (say, a plane or a helicopter). Just run, and let someone else make use of the tank or APC.
3) JOIN A SQUAD. Squads are not optional. Even if you plan to just fly around, join or create a pilot squad.
