The monsters of EA Redwood Shores' sci-fi survival title Dead Space sure look creepy and crawly, but are the infected still human? Regardless, these screenshots prove that whatever they may be, those baddies are still quite mortal.

Dead Space is slated to impact PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 31.

I dunno, I like scary FPS games with kewl monsters and weapons. One of those weapons looks like two rusty saw blades in one conveniently hand-held device, do want. The other weapon looks like a really gay laser pointer. Do not want.
