I'd say the main storyline took me 5 or 6 hours to beat. Most of the missions were pretty standard fare like destroy this, protect that, etc. The 'protect x' missions were a complete pain in the ass at times. One you beat it there are still things to collect/do if you're into that sort of thing. Plus there are 23 or so minigames to play, some of which are fun distractions and some are just flat out terrible (darts). I did like how you unlocked new moves. Basically you have a set of feats that you have to accomplish which range from jumping a total number of feat to destroying X number of tanks. Once you complete the feats required, you unlock that move, character, or artwork. Some of it is grinding, but some reward exploring the city.
Like I said, I enjoyed my time with it, but Ultimate Destruction is still the better game. I don't know if UD is backwards compatible or not, but if it is, you'd probably be best just getting that on the cheap instead.
