Microsoft has revealed that this week's Xbox Live Arcade releases are Elements of Destruction and Sea Life Safari, both coming to the Xbox 360's downloadable gaming platform this Wednesday. Developed by Frozen Codebase, Elements of Destruction puts the player in the shoes of an unemployed research scientist using a weather control machine to harness earthquakes, tornadoes, and lightning to exact revenge on the company that fired you.

Featuring gameplay reminiscent of Arika's Endless Ocean (Wii), Sierra Online's Sea Life Safari includes five underwater destinations for players to explore and photograph, populated by more than 60 types of marine life. The game also has secret routes and rare nocturnal creatures to keep repeat play fresh.

Both games will be priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10) when they arrive on the Xbox Live Marketplace this Wednesday.
