This game is so good that it deserves a second demo. Go get it even if you're not a big fan of racing games.

This is a great game (other than the fact that it contains drifting). It's about time this series gets some mainstream attention.
It has less race types than Toca Race Driver 3, but that is most likely due to the fact that CM:DIRT took on more race types. No need for two games from the same people to compete with each other.

I will miss my Honda lawn mower racing from Toca 3 though.... it was EPIC.

I would say get it ESPECIALLY if you're not a big fan of racing games. I love it, but it's basically just motorised mayhem.

Turn off driver assists, put it on the hardest or second hardest difficulty and play mainly the Euro part. It changes the game from being a dumbed down NFS style race, where you can take corners with one hand on the wheel while eating a bowl of chips to a very intense race with a good balance of realism vs fun. You are usually battling it out with the top two cars, while the rest are in a pack way behind smashing into each other.
Now if your not playing with a wheel...WTF are you doing and how can you judge the handling of the cars with a keyboard or joypad?

I've been playing the NFS games for quite a while and I can definitely say the NFS games are much more forgiving than GRID. Generally I am absolutely horrible at racing games, but at least I can beat the NFS series. I couldn't complete a single race in the GRID demo.

I'll check it out once I get home. I just upgraded my PC to be balls-out power-wise, so it will be nice to play something like this with all the settings turned on.

Does it have any DX10 enhancements?

Didn't work with my controller last time so it's like the worst game ever, if you ask me.
