Commando 3, Frogger 2 Arrive on XBLA Wednesday
by Aaron Linde, Jun 09, 2008 2:10pm PDTMicrosoft has announced this week's Xbox Live Arcade releases to be Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 and Frogger 2, available this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) a piece on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Developed by Backbone Entertainment, Commando 3 marks the first appearance of the arcade action series since the release of Mercs in 1990. The game features cooperative play for up to three players on a single console or via Xbox Live.
As previously reported, those who purchase Commando 3 will eventually be granted access to the Super Street Fighter II HD Remix beta, aimed for release at an unspecified future date.
Meanwhile, Frogger 2 expands on Konami's arcade classic with over 15 levels and new enemies and obstacles. Developed by Voltex, the title also boasts two online multiplayer modes, Race Mode and Jewel Duel, which allows players to compete with up to four players.

Arcade – 1990 – Mercs – (the sequal to Commando) – on CPS arcade hardware by Capcom (Senjo no Ookami II)
I am a arcade feen I could not resist, also you guys always say that the new Bionic Commando is a Nintendo remake. This is true partialy but it first originated in the arcade as well in 1987 by Capcom on their 68000 arcade hardware then it was ported to the NES.
ANyways baught C3 on the PS3 on the weekend its awesome!
