Alone in the Dark Goes Gold, Arrives June 24
by Chris Faylor, Jun 09, 2008 10:25am PDTPublisher Atari has announced that PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Wii editions of Alone in the Dark have entered the manufacturing process and will hit North American retailers on June 24, with the game arriving in Europe on June 20.
The DVD-style reimagining of the classic survival horror franchise was developed by Eden Games for Xbox 360 and PC, with Hydravision Entertainment handling the PS2 and Wii versions.
While Atari had previously announced the release date for Alone in the Dark, the game had been struck by multiple delays. A PlayStation 3 edition of the game is also in development at Eden, and is slated to release at some point during the fall.
