Update 2: After a brief delay, the promised content is now available.

Update: As of 12:42 AM CST, Sony has yet to update the PS Store with the promised content. "We know you're waiting for today's PlayStation Store weekly update, but it's not quite ready," the company wrote on the PlayStation.Blog yesterday.

Original Story: As if in apology for last week's meager offerings, this week's update to the PS3's online store offers a hefty load of content including a pair of anticipated demos, two games and the debut of Qore, a premium video magazine that includes exclusive beta access.

Playable demos of Firaxis Games' Civilization Revolution and EA DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company will be made available alongside tonight's PlayStation Store update. Bad Company is expected to hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 23, while Civilization Revolution arrives on PS3, 360 and Nintendo DS on July 8.

This week's update will also see the release of indie developer Tiki Games' top-down shooter Novastrike and the arcade action title Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 from Backbone Entertainment, both priced at $9.99. As previously reported, Commando 3 will also be available on the Xbox 360 next Wednesday.

The first episode of Qore, an interactive video magazine that features exclusive previews, demos and betas, makes its debut this week. Qore is priced at $2.99 for first issue, or $24.99 for an annual subscription with 13 episodes.

It's listed on the PS Blog. I guess they just forgot to copy it. Here you go:

not to be a tight-ass, but I hope they improve their descripts going forward with qore. I'm not paying 2.99 to roll the dice. thats a penny shy of 3 lottery tickets if I wanted to do that.

Yeah the descriptions are pretty crappy, and it would be nice if the first Episode was free just to see what it's like. I'll probably get the annual subscription, though -- I wanted Calling All Cars anyway, so I'm basically getting the subscription for $15.

Really? dammit. David Jaffe you have failed me. Oh well I'll still end up getting it since I want in on this Qore business, since I'm in the business of the business now (i.e., I make real moneys working as a game dev). Hopefully it'll make a fun little multiplayer diversion when the friends get tired of Rock Band. Wait, we never get tired of Rock Band.

I disagree, it's one of my favorite MP games on the PS3.

Damned with faint praise! :) ...Yeah, it's alright in small doses.
