Final Fantasy 4 DS Trailer Shows CG Cleavage, Classic RPG Battlin'
by Aaron Linde, Jun 05, 2008 4:01pm PDTPublisher Square Enix has released three new clips from its Nintendo DS revamp of the classic SNES RPG Final Fantasy IV, giving North American gamers an earful of protagonist Cecil's voiced dialogue in glorious English.
Also included is Square Enix's trademark CG opening and a bit of localized battle from the title, compiled together for your convenience in a single, tidy video.
And since we've got your attention with the cleavage bit, don't forget Shacknews' rallying call for help finding the cure for breast cancer.
Final Fantasy IV is currently slated for a July 22 release date.

The quality of the 3D models are so drab it makes it seem like this came out pre-PS1 (just slightly better than Starfox). I know it's really the limitations of the DS and not solely Square's fault, but I really think they should have simply done a modern sprite overhaul, which would have been much more visually appealing.

I never got past the "Earth Elemental". When I had first had those polom and pollom twins. Maybe I will when I get this game! :D

And that CG cut scene with Rosa/Cecil and Kain was very very fucking good for setting the tone of that. Really impressed square.
