Saints Row 2 Coming to PC

Publisher THQ has confirmed that Volition's gangster life simulator Saints Row 2 will hit PC in addition to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, though no other details are known.

"At this point, I can confirm there is a PC SKU but nothing beyond that," a THQ representative told Big Download.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of the open-world title were delayed last week due to "product quality and marketing considerations" and are now expected on October 14.

Saints Row 2 marks the the first PlayStation 3 and PC entries in the series, which began on Xbox 360 in 2006.

That's nice, but honestly, I want fucking GTA4 PC. Not some ripoff, even if said ripoff is a pretty decent game, I'm sure it pales in comparison to the real thing.

The first one was great on 360 and I'll probably pick the 2nd up on 360 just for consistency's sake, but its cool that they are shooting for non-exclusivity. Looking very forward to this game!

Is anyone excited about this? Of all the games I wished to be ported to PC, Saint's Row never came up. I think I can hold out for GTA IV.

One major leg up this game will have over GTA4 is you can lock your camera in behind the character in FPS/Third person shooter fashion.
