Street Fighter 4 Producer Confirms Online Multiplayer
by Nick Breckon, May 30, 2008 7:59am PDTThough Street Fighter IV was announced for home consoles last week, few details were revealed of the game other than a broad winter release window.
Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono remedied the lack of information in a recent issue of gaming magazine Famitsu, telling the Japanese publication that the console edition will include online multiplayer, as well as new characters not seen in the arcade version.
The magazine also detailed two new characters according to according to IGN: Rufus, a rival of Ken, and Seth, whose modified body allows him to input different fighting styles.
Street Fighter IV has been confirmed as a PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release.
