Alone in the Dark Screenshots Show DVD-style Menu
by Nick Breckon, May 30, 2008 8:44am PDTAtari has released a few new Alone in the Dark screens, one of which gives us a glimpse at the horror game's DVD-style, time-warping menu that was detailed last week.
The game will allow players to fast forward or rewind through its many "episodes," an attempt to keep the frustration of getting stuck on a puzzle to a minimum. Of course, the game will still require you to complete all of the basic content before moving on to the final levels.
Alone in the Dark is set for a June 24 release on PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and Wii.

But then, I see it in many games these days. Why waste time making menus look hot, just add same old blocky big buttons and beveled icons.

Not sure why it takes to long to drop the resolution, downsample the textures, remove a few effects and gimp the AI to make a proper PS3 port tho.
