by Nick Breckon, May 29, 2008 1:00pm PDTThose looking for a new Civilization fix will have to hold out for another month, as 2K Games today announced that Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution has been delayed from its June 3 release date.
Civilization Revolution will now hit stores July 8 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a Nintendo DS version to be released simultaneously.
The news was hidden in a press release highlighting designer Sid Meier's recent entry into the Guinness World Records as the gaming industry's "Most Award-Winning Developer."
"It is every kid's dream to make it into the Guinness World Records and I'm thrilled to be a part of the prestigious book," said Meier. "I'm thankful to the many game critics who have enjoyed our games and hope they are as excited about our upcoming Civilization Revolution title as I am."
