Spore Creature Phase Detailed in New Media

Maxis today released four high resolution screenshots that show off the creature phase in its upcoming evolutionary simulation Spore. The game is due out September 7 on PC and Mac.

Describes Maxis of the creature phase: "Gather DNA points as you interact with other creatures either socially or aggressively. Collect new parts, then use the Creature Creator to spend your DNA and expand your creature's abilities."

Are these interviews with developers? Does anyone else get the feeling like this presenter and the one in the prior video are really tired? Overworked maybe? I just don't get the feeling of enthusiasm from these videos.

The have promised so much in this game I'm worried EA is going to drive the developers into comas just to keep to the deadline.
