Electronic Arts has announced that the second set of downloadable maps for EA Montreal's co-op action game Army of Two (PS3, 360) will arrive this Thursday, May 29.

Available for free through the online Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store, the Veteran Map Pack includes two new co-op campaign maps, Kiev and Miami, along with a China Canal two-on-two multiplayer map.

The company noted that the new maps are "dynamic and interactive," complete with "destructible objects that were not available in the retail version."

I thought this game was only okay, but the co-op was still fun. Nice that it's free. I felt the campaign was too short.

I thought it was great fun. Gears of War with enhanced co-op features (and replaced monsters with terrorists of course). Length felt right to me - I did think the end fight was anti-climatic however.

His comments toward the end made up for it though! (the boss, that is)
