New Madworld Shots Highlight Blood, Little Else
by Aaron Linde, May 19, 2008 4:52pm PDTPublisher Sega has released three new screenshots of the over-the-top violence extravaganza Madworld (Wii), showcasing the game's stylized black, white, and bloody visuals.
Unveiled at a press briefing last week, Madworld comes from Platinum Games, formed by ex-Capcom vets responsible for Resident Evil, Viewtiful Joe, God Hand and Okami.
Though the extreme and graphical violence takes center stage in Madworld, designer Shigenori Nishikawa says the game is to be taken in a more comical light, and was designed with Western audiences in mind.
Madworld is due for release in early 2009.
