Castle Crashers Finished, In Certification Process
by Aaron Linde, May 19, 2008 12:11pm PDTThe Behemoth's cooperative XBLA beat-'em-up Castle Crashers has completed production and is currently awaiting certification, lead artist Dan Paladin revealed on the company's blog.
The hack-and-slash action title, which has been been in development since 2006, now moves to Microsoft's standard Xbox Live Arcade certification and final testing process before its Xbox 360 release.
The unpredictably time-consuming certification process precluded the developer from announcing a firm release date, but with core development essentially completed, Castle Crashers' summer release window seems very likely.
