MS Spring Showcase: New Gears 2 Screenshots

Microsoft and Epic Games have released new screenshots from Gears of War 2, apparently captured from the same session as the recently-released gamepay footage.

An Xbox 360 exclusive, the cover-heavy action sequel is slated to arrive in November. Much like the first Gears of War, Epic has no plans to for a downloadable demo.

Apart from only having shades of grey I think these shots look pretty good... But there's no way the actual game is gonna look like that. I remember the first shots of UT3, and the eventual game looked nothing like it, even on my monster computer. Also, first off, the unreal engine doesn't do AA as far as I know, and secondly there's no way the xbox 360 hardware is powerful enough to render images with the level of fidelity displayed here.
