Fiery New Alone in the Dark Screens

Reversing today's trend of rumors and unofficial assets, publisher Atari has issued several flame-filled screenshots from Eden Studios' Alone in the Dark.

The reimagining of the classic survival horror franchise is set to hit PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Wii on June 24, with a PlayStation 3 version following later this year.

If I knew this would create the same good memories (of the kind I now have @ the original Alone in the Dark game), then I'd pick it up without thinking twice.
Oh well.. that time that mind I guess :(

Surprisingly looks better then the cutscene clip I've been seeing. Looks like they ripped off Resident Evil 4 though with the behind the shoulder.

The recent fire tech demo was fairly impressive.

And 3rd person over-the-shoulder view is used in a whole bunch of games. Just because Resident Evil 4 got there before most everyone else doesn't mean we should knock subsequent games for using the same view.

        Exactly as Scernos said.

It's not like new games need to have their own unique camera view..
I guess that would mean no more 1st person or 3rd person shooters anymore lol :P

If it works well, why not use it again :D.

P.S - Cant wait for GTA 4 for the PC!! ( And I know all of you are thinking the same thing )
