Spoilers in there for the first 37 mins of gameplay up to about level 5 or 6. I run an amd x2 4800+. 8800gt. 2gig ddr2800. winxp pro sp2. I was running 1280x1024 with everything pretty much maxed in this bit of show.
It is a bit big and not of the greatest quality but if nothing else it sort of gives you an idea of the basics.

I recently ditched windows and picked up myself a nice Mac Pro, curious about a few games and if they'll come over to OS X. Currently WoW runs great in OS X, and between that and my XBox my gaming needs are being met.
A quick visit to the Age of Conan website displayed Games for Windows proudly. Im curious now if the guys who made this video use Macs and just capture their keyboard to overlay the gameplay video captured from a windows machine.

The combat looks gay. Like the other posters, it's just wild swinging animations with no response to the hits, blood, damage skins, or even hit-boxing. The only thing I can think of is perhaps it was cleaned up for wide media publishing, or the tutorial itself is just dumbed down for the sake of training.
What I did find to be awesome, was the straight forwardness and level of detail in the tutorial. I really like the animated arrows showing you exactly where in the menu or options to make changes. I was very precise in how to execute combos and it told you about how certain weapon types and levels of characters may differ, and how those combos might look. Very instructional. I wish all tutorials were that good.
