SingStar PS3 Arrives in North America May 20
by Chris Faylor, Apr 25, 2008 10:23am PDTWithin an announcement detailing the tent at the upcoming Coachella Festival, Sony Computer Entertainment America confirmed that the first PlayStation 3 entry in SCE Studios London's karaoke series SingStar will hit North America on May 20.
Demonstrated at countless Sony events since its formal unveiling in 2006, the PlayStation 3 edition of SingStar arrived in Europe last fall.
Similar to Harmonix's multi-instrument effort Rock Band (PS3, X360), the title features an online music store that is sporadically updated with new music.
A set tracklist has yet to be provided for the North American rendition of the game. Previous renditions have included tracks from a wide range of artists, including Gorillaz, R.E.M., OutKast, Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman, and more.
