Warning: This new trailer for Konami's upcoming PlayStation 3 system-seller Metal Gear Solid 4 is in Japanese. If that wasn't alienating enough, in the absence of David Hayter's gruff voicework, Solid Snake has apparently gone emo.

Just pretend the narrator is saying things like "heart-stopping thrill ride of the summer," and you'll probably be on board.

I guess I am totally broken... but I just have almost no interest in this game at all... and I really can't say why. It looks pretty and all... there's cool stuff in there... I techically SHOULD be interested... but I'm just not. Good thing I guess because I dont' have a PS3.

The one game that makes me want a PS3 so bad... is still Wipeout HD and Little Big Planet I guess.

it'll be snake killing himself, but killing his future self in order to stop his past self from committing suicide. Also, the bullet is actually a venom that makes him live forever. The plot twist brings the story full circle by showing that the world is actually made up of tiny little monkeys held together with glue...

life-saving glue.

also, everyone in the world dies, but only in their mind. Then Mark Kerppupel opens his eye and everyone is alive again...but dead. Dead again. Everyone is happy again. cool. but really terrible.

I am so torn as to whether or not i am looking forward to this. I will have to crack open my unused MGS3 and hopefully get a good feeling for the series again, just so I can get that blegh feeling I got after 2. MGS1/TS is still one of my favorite games ever, so the love is still there...
