Activision Announces Little League World Series 2008, Releases Horrifying Screenshots
by Aaron Linde, Apr 23, 2008 2:34pm PDTPublisher Activision today announced Little League World Series 2008 for the Wii and DS platforms, aimed for release on August 5. The company also released a handful of screenshots from the Wii version of the title.
Little League World Series 2008 offers players the ability to bat, pitch and field using controls developed exclusively for the Wii and DS, and is the first officially licensed Little League to hit "next-gen" consoles.
The game is said to feature sixteen teams—eight from the United States and eight international—character customization, World Series mode and a variety of skill-based challenges. Activision did not disclose the name of the studio developing Little League.
