Operation: Darkness Screens Decidedly Lacking in Zombie Hitler, Wolfman

Publisher Atlus has released seven new screenshots of Operation: Darkness, a World War II fantasy/strategy Xbox 360 title by Tokyo-based developer Success. The title pits players with a squad of elite British troops against Hitler and his legions of bloodthirsty zombies and supernatural monsters. Atlus recently unveiled a trailer of the title, showing off Operation Darkness' combat system and motley band of enemies.

"Magic and vampire Hitlers and wolfmen and tanks," said Shacknews founder Steve Gibson. "WTF."

A demo of Operation: Darkness will be made available on Xbox Live on May 5, with the game's release following on June 24.
