New Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway Media

Ubisoft has released new screenshots and a trailer for Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway (PC, PS3, X360), Gearbox Software's upcoming World War 2 action game. According to the trailer, which can be streamed below, the game is currently set for an August release.

I'm all for story and characters in games but they need to tone down the emo drama stuff. This was also a problem in the original. These dark musings about war, the "noooooooo!" moments and all these troubled face close-ups. Yeah, war is hell, we get it. But dramatic techniques lose their power and credibility when you throw them in every single scene.

Having said that I was a big fan of the original, I loved the tactical fire-team action. Hopefully they can evolve the gameplay without screwing anything up with these new features.

I've enjoyed this series but the repeated delays for this most recent iteration have my wondering if this is worth waiting for - add that to a lot of underwhelming info from it, and I think I'm going to be steering clear until I can see some positive reviews, proving my hunch incorrect.

I'm excited for this. I wasn't a huge fan of the first Brothers in Arms game (the only one I've played), but this looks absolutely fantastic.

If you haven't played the other BIA games you should STFU about this one. They are not anything like the COD, MOH titles. Much more story driven and tactical. If you don't like ww2 games go away.

Looks great, I hope it has a great multiplayer where I can kick some allied ass with a kar98k or mp44.

Just hope the game does not suffer from shitty mouse acceleration like other unreal powered games as I'm sick of hacking the shit out of those unfriendly unreal configs. ( looking at you moha and bioshock!!)
