Quake Wars Console Port Gets May 27 Release Date, New Screenshots and Trailer

id Software's Kevin Cloud revealed that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Splash Damage's Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will hit retail shelves on May 27. Publisher Activision also revealed new screenshots and a new trailer for the upcoming title.

Released for PCs last September, Quake Wars is being developed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 by Z-Axis and Nerve Software, respectively. The title will run gamers $59.99 on both platforms.

    Are the screenshots washed out? Or do I need to get the Windex?

      Yeah it almost looks like something is wrong... some of them are almost monochromatic.

      They seem a little darker and the color seems noticably less saturated compared to the PC version. The 360 shots they showed at E3 2007 didn't look this way. I wonder if just bad shots or if they decided to change something for performance reasons.

      yeah i think something got messed up with those along the way. the trailer is taken from the 360 version and doesn't look washed out like that.

      It seems that way. While looking at these screenshots, I'm thinking brown, brown and more brown. Not much of a color palette. Hopefully we can see some gameplay footage soon.
