Evening Reading

So we ran a fun little quick experiment in the comments today broadcasting a bit of the behind the scenes nonsense that goes on around here. We weren't really sure many people would care but apparently there are some. We'll give it another shot tomorrow afternoon. We just have a Windows machine downtown hosting our Skype conference during the days. Since we run it on a Vista machine over remote desktop with an external USB soundblaster it kind of makes rebroadcasting a little tricky though. We've tried WME and Shoutcast servers but both of them don't want to play nice. We'll probably give Skypecast a shot but that can only handle about 100 connections.

As for the the videogame news around these parts for today:

Lastly, ok Skypecast eats a butt. Bah.

Man, I have respect for actors that will put on weight for their craft. The amount of effort to become like...20 pounds heavier.

Holy fuck. the legacy of a gruesome spinal injury incurred in 2004, while filming a torture scene for “Syriana.” (He hit his head on a concrete floor; not long afterward, cerebrospinal fluid began to leak out of his nose.)

CEREBROSPINAL FLUID BEGAN TO LEAK OUT OF HIS NOSE JESUS FUCK

I loved him in Syriana though.

Real fucking trooper though. Fascinating article really, it's interesting reading how he's basically this product of a showbiz family and he's evolved into this semi-attention-seeking yet really honest-to-god-showman nature with a healthy dash of intelligence, restraint and political saavy.

          Okay, I'd have his manbabies.

He easily earned a man-crush from me with his litter-box prank.
