Operation: Darkness Trailer is Hitlertastic

Publisher Atlus has released a new trailer for Operation: Darkness, a World War II fantasy/strategy Xbox 360 title by Tokyo-based developer Success.

The title pits players with a squad of elite British troops against Hitler and his legions of bloodthirsty zombies and supernatural monsters, a scenario straight out of the history books. "Fight the hidden battles of World War II," the trailer beckons.

A demo for the title will be made available on Xbox Live on May 5, with the game's release following on June 24.

that really was just one of the most strange trailers i have watched. shit was just all over the place. it didnt look like something i would have any interest in playing but wow. bonkers.

the idea of a tactical squad based game with mercenaries with super powers, zombies and tanks seems kind of cool. unfortunately setting it during world war 2 seems laughably absurd.

is there such a thing as direct to the bargain bin releases for consoles along the same lines as direct to DVD for movies?
