Evening Reading

by Steve Gibson, Apr 07, 2008 6:00pm PDT

Well then, I finally rid this place of that crazy foreign guy this afternoon so that's

a good start. Also been learning a dangerous amount about more server configuration stuff

lately. I've been actually baffled at how much control you can have over things with

Apache and the popular modules. There is a 100% chance I will blow things up again soon.

It's coming. As for this evening:

  • Europe getting cell phones

    href="http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/BusinessTravel/wireStory?id=4603176">on planes

  • Y! says

    href="http://money.cnn.com/2008/04/07/technology/yahoo_response/index.htm?postversion=2008040707?cnn=yes">piss

    off MS

  • New iPhone is getting close
  • Hack the IRS
  • Scrabble fights

    back

  • Vista SP1 coming out, again

As for the the videogame news around these parts for today:

Lastly, damn FireFox is crapping out on DNS again. I'm sure not going to just keep

wiping and reinstalling every few days to fix this nonsense. I cant find a way to

completely disable the local DNS cache in FireFox 2 though. I've seen references to it on

Google but  that option doesnt seem to be around anymore? Argh. Back to IE I go...
