Ill admit that I was a daikatana basher for a while, but I just might get this game if I hear enough good stuff about it. was gonna buy 3-4 games plus the Q3 mission pack anyway.

I could care less abou the single player game, but what I'm *really* looking forward to is death tag! I have great memories of playing U_DTAG on the old MajorBBS. Maybe the other parts of the game could be fun too, but I might buy it just for death tag.

dk looks pretty cool. the only thing is, it seems like it will be just killing various monsters with various weapons while advancing through various levels. they haven't really mentioned any elements of gameplay beyond that. i guess if the visuals and action are good enough, that'll keep up my interest through four big episodes, but it does seem like most games being released now have gameplay that goes a bit deeper. i'm definitely gonna check it out though when i'm done with thief 2. :)

I may burn in hell for saying this, but I think it will probably be a fun game. The screenshots look nice & from thinking about the person in charge of making this game, the gameplay should be fast & furious (which I like), hopefully a lot like DooM.

I am looking forward to the baking of the Daikatana. :)

I think daikatana will be a really good game. I was looking forward to it Christmas 98, but after the delays i kinda forgot about it. the mplayer demo didnt do much for me, and after giving it a try a couple of weeks ago, the people playing it on mplayer were all assholes. once its out i bet a lot of people will switch over to it, even the ones that have been bashing it and talking about how it wont sell any copies for all these months.
